Here are the weather forecasts . . . the snow is still coming fast and furiously!!
I tried to do a better job with a picture timeline because the kids won't remember this snow event except in pictures. The problem is that most of the snow came overnight!!
This picture is at Midnight. You can't see anything - the wind was swirling and snow was blowing everywhere!!
Picture from 7am Saturday, February 6, 2010 - about 18" of snow on the ground with drifts as high as 2 feet. It is still snowing and we decided to go outside before it got so deep that it was taller then Luke.
The kids needed help walking through the snow. We are still expected to get 12" more today.
Luke taking a break - his eyelashes were covered with snow flakes. The top layer of snow is light and fluffy - the bottom 10" is heavy and wet so Luke seems to stay on top of half of it.
Dad and Cora doing a little sledding. It took me about 5 runs down by myself to get a sledding path together. The trip down the short hill wasn't too bad. . it was the walk up. There was a snow drift that had the snow up to my waist!!
Time to go inside and dry off, "I am soaked and wet with snow." said Cora.
