When we were visiting my family on the Eastern Shore we took a trip to the zoo. It was cold and windy but we wanted to get the kids outside and give them a chance to run around.
We bundled up tight and went without a stroller so that they could run around and exhaust themselves on the walk and in the fresh air.
There weren't many animals up and about but Cora loves to wander around and see what she can. The llamas came right up to us - this made her day.
All of us enjoyed "Howling" at the wolves.
A family picture!! I was looking through my pictures and we have 3 family pictures for the entire year. . . and this is one of them. Next year I need to do a better job of getting all of us in the picture.
After running around the zoo we stopped in to the playground for a little bit. By this point the kids hands were freezing and it was time to head home for naps!! The mission was a success.
