Fun! So nice to be able to get outside and do a few "runs" in the morning even if it is just the bunny slope!
Freddie will be 2 in February and we are considering spring skiing...not sure if he's ready...what do you think? Do you buy gear for your kids or rent for the season?
We rented the skies and boots for the season for $100 each. Helmits were $80 for Luke and $60 for Cora that we will probably get to use for two years. They are free season passes with our season passes.
It will be early to start for Freddie because of his age and size but if he has good balance you may want to just rent the equipment for the one day and take him in the morning and the evening for about an hour each. A friend told us, "if they can run they can ski, just make sure it is fun for everyone."
Thanks for the tips. We won't do anything out east so we'll just rent for a day or two in Vail. He's pretty agile and fearless, but I'm not so sure about following instructions. Do you just click them in the skis and let them loose at the top of the hill???
