Christmas in Pennsylvania
Dave's family decided to meet for an early dinner and then all go over to Hershey Park for their winter lights celebration. There was many of the small rides open and we all bundled up and played outside for an evening.
First, was dinner and presents at his sister Christina's house.
People there: Our family, Dave's sister and her family (Christina, Steve, Matthew, Micaela, and Brianna), Dave's brother and his family (Mike, Dee, Trey, Braylon, and baby Tatiana), and Dave's mom.
We spent the afternoon talking and playing, then we ate dinner, cleaned up and then *finally* headed downstairs for presents.

Now that presents are over, it is off to Hershey Park!! The drive is less then 45 minutes and after a quick stop at the Hershey Outlets we arrived at the park around 5pm. We waded through the crowds at the entrance and broke free into the park.
It was a little cold but we kept moving the whole time because most of the rides weren't too long of a wait.
I learned a lot about my little kids this visit to Hershey Park - Luke hates to walk . . .
and Cora loves laughing, running, and giggling with her cousins.
We tried to go on rides that everyone could go on together, as Trey is demonstrating, the Merry-Go-Round was first.
Brianna, Dave's sister Christina and her husband Steve. Steve works in the Hershey corporate offices and was able to help us navigate quickly through the park and made sure we saw everything we could!
Braylon is hiding somewhere in there!
Later was the train ride - everyone you can see in the picture was from our group of 7 kids and 7 adults.

Visiting Santa's reindeer was a treat - Rudolph decided not to turn his nose on, the people taking care of the reindeer said he only does it when it is really foggy!
We couldn't figure out why the kids were starting to get grumpy . . . after some thought and 30 minutes in a line to get food we realized that their early dinner had worn off and they were starving!!
Next was off to shake the kids up! Brianna, Trey, Cora, Micaela and Braylon all laughed their way through this ride (some holding on tighter then others).
Luke was too small to ride on the *bigger* rides so he enjoyed a ride on some trucks (ironically this ride sliced his cousin's finger open about 4 years ago - poor Micaela)!
I was very proud of all the cousins, they played well and were in good spirits most of the evening!! It was a very fun evening and may have started a new family tradition!?!?
