Thanksgiving on the Eastern Shore

Thanksgiving was spent in Princess Anne, Maryland at my parents house on the Eastern Shore. In 2010 we were at Dave's Family's house and two years ago in 2009 was spent with my parents.
The kids always enjoy a tour of my parents house which included taking some pictures out on the peer.
Gigi (my mom) bought some arts and crafts activities that Cora LOVED doing, she even had Hannah (her bunny sitting at the table to the left) help her.
It wasn't long before the cousins arrived and everyone went outside to run off some of the energy and excitement of the afternoon. Above, Cora carefully helps Landon run around, being sure he isn't left behind. Below, Luke and Andrew run around in their new Santa hats that Auntie Gwen bought them.
The kids really lucked out with the beautiful day, it was over 60 degrees!!
Molly was sure not to be forgotten or left out also getting in on the racing fun!
Below, my mom - Gigi - tastes some of her homemade pumpkin soup. This is the one item of the meal that makes it feel like Thanksgiving to me. I really love this soup!!!
Luke and Andrew don't enjoy the soup but love apples. Auntie Gwen peeled the skin off the apple for Luke and he ate it down to the seeds!
Dad and Luke watching some cartoons patiently waiting for dinner.
DINNER IS HERE!!! It was so yummy and I love to see everyone sitting at the big table.
It isn't easy to get everyone to the table at the same time and at a few points it seemed more like chaos then dinner but even the noise of chaos was music to my ears because I know that around the table are happy people.
