After growing tired of looking at a filthy baby chair Dave and I decided it was time to get a booster seat for Luke. A seat that INCLUDED a tray.
The previous chair attached to the table - which was wonderful because it didn't take up any space.
The downfall came when Luke started to "shuffle" his food back and forth which meant that Dave and I would end up wearing food.
Another problem with the attached chair was how far we had to move everything out of his reach. Luke is a master of getting his hands on things he wasn't supposed to have.
Lastly, while the fabric was machine washable (and washing it was pretty easy) it would get so disgusting EVERY night that we felt like we had to wash it every other day!
Off to Toys R Us we went - picked out a new chair and installed it that afternoon. So far we love it - much easer for daily up-keep. Luke is a MESSY eater so the all over plastic without crevices seems to be working for the best!
And it has dual trays so if one "layer" gets too messy we pick it up and use the lower level. Makes for a happy Mommy!!

Yes, he needs to be a bit bigger!! :-) Although from his pictures I see he is a messy eater too!
