Cousin Andrew comes to visit with Gigi (my mom) for the weekend. There was lots of fun to be had so a good nights sleep was how Friday night started.
However, this was not the final sleeping arrangement. After a few tries, it was decided that all kids could not sleep together - there was just too much laughter and too much fighting. They fought over where to sleep, who was too loud, then someone would make a silly noise and everyone would erupt in laughter.
Saturday was cold and rainy so we went to Discovery Station in Hagerstown. A partial museum, partial learning center. There are toys and exhibits all kid centered and usually fun.
The kids favorite room was the magnet room.

There were books, activities, and games all centered around the concept of magnetism.
Cora and Andrew shared secrets on how to build tall towers with the magnet pieces.
Luke's favorite display were the trains. There were a few different train set-ups and Luke must have spent 20 minutes pressing all the buttons and listening to the train whistles.
After the museum we went home to decorate eggs.
I purchased three decorating kits and the kids had a great time dying their eggs, making them into dinosaurs, and putting lots of glitter on them.
There was ice cream to end the day but poor Luke, he didn't make it that long - he was too tired.
It was a great weekend and made me smile to see the cousins getting along so well. I can't wait for the twins - Molly and Landon to get a little bigger so we can all enjoy spending time together!!!
