An entertaining and fun wedding filled our Saturday evening as Tom and Kerry tied the knot. This couple is very much into music and fun so the pictures that follow will show their sense of humor!
The wedding took place at the Calvert Marine Museum.
Underneath a historic light house on Solomon's Island.
Kerry and her dad walking down the isle.
Tom is a friend of Dave's and we have all grown to love Kerry and how she brings out the best in Tom - we have never seen him smile so much!
The light house was on a pier and the entire area was surrounded by water, beautiful houses, and gorgeous sailboats. After dinner was the reception at the Solomon's island Yacht Club.
It was a rock and roll pig roast on the water on one of the most beautiful nights I can remember.
The food was DELICIOUS even if we did get too look the little piggy in the face before we ate it!!
There were traditional events through the night, the father-daughter dance, cake cutting, toasts, and lots of dancing but there was also many non-traditional events including . . .
Elvis singing to the groom during his dance with his mother. . .Kerry's friends presenting the groom with a "How to Handle Kerry" book of instructions, a cake knife with Elvis's face inscribed and the size of a small machete, seating arrangements by Rock Band names, toasting with Strawberry Hill Boones Farm instead of Champaign . . .
AND most people's personal favorites. . . dressing up in wigs and taking pictures as a members of random rock bands. . .
Apparently. . .
all people in rock bands. . .
stick out their tongue's . . .
and throw up their hands. . .
because that is all . . .
we non-musicians know how to do!!!
LOTS OF LAUGHTER. . . .
Hours and hours of fun this evening. A great start for a wonderful couple! Here is to many years of love and laughter - Best Wishes to you both Tom and Kerry!!!
