Cabin Fever

There is a little bit of Cabin Fever here on Pondsville Road. We are a little tired of playing blocks, puzzles, coloring, painting, dress-up, matching games, etc. and we are ready to go outside.
Even if it was just for about 45 minutes - it was nice to get outside today!! There is still snow on the ground but Dave went for a run on the Rail Trail yesterday and we took the kids outside to play on the driveway and ride bikes. The grass is a quick sand mess, but the driveway has most of the snow off of it so it was time to break out the Big Wheels and Glide Bike!!
Cora can't reach the pedals enough to pedal both sides. She sorta sits off to one side and is able to pedal that side with force but then the other side goes unattended. I hope by this Spring she grows one more inch. . . then she will be able to properly pedal this Big Wheels.
Luke likes to ride the Glide Bike but isn't quite tall enough yet. Cora will use this and her Big Wheels mostly this summer. We will have to buy a bike for Luke. He will need a Big Wheel that Dave and I can push standing up - one with a handle so we don't break our backs. He will also need a helmit! Those are my next purchases. Maybe the Easter Bunny will bring him one?!? His birthday will be too late in the summer!
There is a chance that Dave will take Cora skiing again tonight?!?! Depends on the weather?!? We borrowed Brock's ski's - so if the circumstances fit there may be more ski pictures coming!!
