Trick or Treat was moved from Saturday to Thursday for Smithsburg. There were a few reasons given by the newspaper (keeping kids out of trouble, a "mandatory" sex offender's meeting for all in the area, and "The Mummers Parade") so instead of having all day to prepare we had 45 minutes from when we got home from work to when we left to go. . . dinner, dressed, pictures and all!!

Luke did manage to make it to a few houses - not many - mostly he was interested in the decorations, the people, and the animals in the houses behind the people handing out candy.
We met up with the Bono Family again - the kids went as the Wizard of Oz - this is Sam - he was the Tin Man.

Here are Cora and Sophia - they held hands most of the evening introducing each other to the people handing out candy.
We also ran into Stacey, Brock and Macy. Pictured above is Stacey and her little baby bunny Macy. Pictured below is Stacey and Spiderman Brock.
We brought the wagon to allow for better in and out, up and down as the kids wanted. I think next year we will just make them walk or carry them - because sometimes we were pulling an empty wagon while carrying a kid and their candy.
