With school out the summer adventures have started.
Monday 5/6 we met up with our friends Ms. Amy, Carrie and Atlee and drove through the mountains about 1 hour to Rocky Gap State Park. Our original plan was to head to a water park in Pennsylvania but it is not open on Mondays, so a quick adjustment found us at this park.
We had the park to ourselves most of the morning and the kids had a great time swimming and playing in the water with water squirt toys that shoot water up high in the air.
We all also got a chance to build sand castles and make small baby pools of water. The sand was very rocky, not much for building castles but fun none the less.
Luke is still just 2 years old. His birthday is July 31 but lucky for us he is mostly able to behave and keep up with the 4 year olds. Only once in a while does he remind us that he is still younger then everyone else by over a year.
