Recycled Tire Playground

There is a playground in the Cunningham Falls State Park that is made mostly from recycled tires.

The Recycled Tire Park has LOTS to do and we played there with Ms. Amy, Carrie and Atlee for almost two hours.

The park was established in 1995 and is still in really good condition. The ground is very soft because there is a foot of packed shredded tires.

The "Zip Line" was the favorite of the day.

The kids didn't really know what to do when we first got there. They seemed a little lost and needed to be taught how to play so Ms. Amy and I volunteered to demonstrate some of the equipment. It is amazing how much fun tires can be!!

There was also a big shreded tire mound that Luke and Atlee played on. Enjoying throwing stuff into the air.

This park is a great idea and a good way to recycle!! ;-)
