Since there is no snow but still pretty cold, we need to look for new things to do inside. One favorite of the kids is puzzles. They usually do the smaller puzzles by themselves but for Christmas Santa brought them a bigger puzzle and this one has been sitting on the dining room table for about a week. 
We are making slow progress on it, the kids need help organizing the pieces but they are doing most of it themselves. 
I look forward to having my dining room table back, not to eat on - but so we can fold clothes on!! It is a good quite activity that I often use as "filler" in between other activities or as I am setting up an arts & craft project.
