Visit from the Owen Family 2010

My sister and her family stopped in for an enjoyable visit. The twins are getting older and they are on a better schedule so it seemed easier for everyone this year then it was last year.

Cora, Luke and Andrew played in the basement and outside most of the time. They did a wonderful job keeping each other entertained - leaving the adults to play with the twins. The weather cooperated and we were able to all go outside both Saturday and Sunday.

Molly in her bright pink coat! She is off and running all over the place. She is very curious and wants to see what is going on everywhere.
Uncle Jay and Landon. Landon doesn't want to walk so he spends most of his time sitting and crawling around, often losing his shoes in the process. He is a very laid back kid and has a wonderful demeanor (except if you take a toy then he gets really mad - poor Molly)!
Stuck - Luke is stuck in the middle. He wants to be a bigger kid and play with Cora and Andrew (14 months younger then Cora, and 2.5 years younger then Andrew) but gets frustrated when he can't keep up with them and then would switch to trying to play with the babies (he is about 13 months older then the twins) who aren't up to his speed yet. Give it some time Luke - you will have lots of fun with your cousins very soon!!!
Saturday evening we enjoyed a fun evening by the fire with snacks and beverages.
The temperature may have been warm during the day but it quickly dropped once the sun went down.
Smores and roasted marsh-mellows were YUMMY!!! I don't care how old I get - I still LOVE burnt marsh-mellows. . .I think this love runs in the family. . . as Auntie Gwen enjoyed some of this fiery treat!
Nothing seems more relaxing and enjoyable then a nice fire on a cool evening! Lots of laughter could be heard - along with some strange singing about "being right" from one crazy sister ;-) Also, it was important to keep warm as the temperature dropped - stoking the fire is very important!!
Looking forward to many more visits and fun times with my sister and her family.

Yay for sisters! And for cousins! The kids are so lucky to have cousins so close in age. Love all the photos.
